Day 14: I am so glad I am in Las Vegas, because I have made today’s post by the skin of my teeth. It is 11:40 pm ,and I just got back to the hotel from a day of fun and games. What I am going to blog about is my experience last evening at a show by a hypnotist, Kevin Lepine. I have to tell you it was an experience. I volunteered to go on stage with ten others, and participate in the program. I was probably the oldest person on stage, and the ages of the other participates, probably ranged to the mid twenties.
We were all brought on stage and sat in chairs, male, female, male, continuing the alteration until we were all seated. The lights were dimmed. Kevin began to talk, and before I knew it my arm was in the air and I couldn’t put it down. He had people doing some strange things. Napkins were one hundred-dollar bills in our minds. I could see they were square and white, but that made them a hundred-dollar bill.
It was a strange feeling seeing everything going on, but not having control. My girlfriend told me it was the funniest show she had ever seen. I remember the show and I remember everything that happened, but none of it is funny to me. It is not that it bothers me, I just don’t feel anything at all about it. I remember when he released our minds, after telling us that what we did on stage was not going to bother us in any way. We just had a good time with no embarrassment. I have none, but I suspect I should.
I can recommend the Kevin Lepine show, based on the recommendation from my friend, and how everyone was talking after the show. It must be quite a show to watch. Make sure you have someone with you when you go and volunteer, to make them happy. You will come away, just a little bit dazed but whomever is with you will still be laughing the next day.
I have one more full day left in Las Vegas which gives me another day of fun and games. That’s my two cents for today
