I Have Failed!!

I really tried hard to live up to what I  promised by resolution to do, but alas, I have failed.  I promised myself I was going to blog everyday for the entire year, but I missed blogging yesterday.  I have lots of excuses: 1) Being in Las Vegas 2)Spending time with my friend, 3) Eating wonderful food, 4) Sleeping in yesterday, because I knew I would be up late, 5) Going to a stage production of “Lion King“.  That’s the end of my excuse list.  I was just so busy I couldn’t get back to the hotel to my computer.  Oops that added one more.

I am now back home in Texas, totally wore out from all my fun and ready to sleep in my own bed.  It doesn’t matter where I go or how long I stay, or even if I’m having the best time in the world.  I am always ready to get back home and get a really good nights sleep.

Let me tell you about “The Lion King.”  It was absolutely wonderful to behold.  The music and costumes were spectacular in my opinion.  The way they created the costumes so the actors could move freely and you knew exactly what type of animal the actor was portraying.  The colors were bright and the African music awesome.

The show has been in Las Vegas for almost two years and I could see it being around for a long time.  I would give this  show four thumbs up, if I had four to give.  It is enjoyable for the adult as well as the two-year old.  If you get a chance to see it, take advantage of the opportunity.  You won’t regret it.  That’s my two cents for today.

I'm a retired RN enjoying my retirement to the fullest. I liked adventure and travel and making friends. I have 6 dogs and 1 cat. They are like having a house full of three years olds. Now for the rest of the story. My Granddaughter and her husband now live with us and they have 4 dogs and 4 cats along with a giant Flemish Rabbit. My Granddaughter has now added beautiful, Olivia to our household. My fourth Great Grandchild. They are a large part of my life and I can't imagine them not being around. I spend most of my time sitting in front of my computer working on my latest book or talking about Essential Oils. On the personal side, I'm married to a wonderful man who spoils me and I love it. I am very much a country girl. I love living on our 5 acres on Pole Cat Creek watching the deer and other animals occasionally stick their heads out of the trees. It's a fun life.

Been reading your page today, it is interesting and well thought out. One reason I do not make resolutions is they are so easy to break, and then where are you? “He who expects nothing … Is seldom disappointed.” That kind of thing.

The news is now reporting that the zodiac change was a hoax, you don’t have to fret on that one, it went into the circular file under bogus. In other words, you are still a Libra.

So you see … It all works out in the end, doesn’t it?

    • Thanks for comming by the blog. I usually don’t make resolutions either but I thought this year might be different, it wasn’t. Circumstances dictate so much that happens in one’s life.

I had not heard about the hoax, that is good to know. I know it was all over Las Vegas TV and I was at the Zodiac Shop when they interviewed the owner. Just goes to show, you never really know.
